Forging the Mythical

This Project explores the process of creating figurines and miniatures of fictional creatures and characters using 3D printing technology. The project began with research into the history of figure creation and into the modern process of 3D printing.  It explored the step-by-step process of modeling the figures using a combination of digital and traditional sculpting techniques. It also covered the 3D printing process, including adding keys, supports, and decimation. Finally,  it went through the painting process and showcases the final figure created.
